Hello Mendo Witches! Let’s meet at Kama Loka Books for knotwork Magick and a reading of meeting a magickal mentor from A Box of Magick.

I am excited to return to Guerneville for a booksigning event at Russian River Books and Letters. I love this crowd because they ask the most thoughtful questions. We might even need to take a jaunt to cemetery after the book event!

We are all have wisdom within. There is something each of us knows deep in our bones. In this workshop, we will work with imagery and playfulness to access this wisdom, this wild, wise self. We are all capable of accessing that inner knowing on the multi-cellular level so that we shine our Divine Essence brightly - wherever we go. We can connect with our wise ancestors in nature and the cosmos as a guide for following energetic flow, manifestation, and engaging in a conscious conversation with the natural world.

Our Inner Wisdom is an aspect of who we are, a facet of our being. In this workshop, we will create a collage card with the techniques of SoulCollage®, transpersonal work based on depth psychology and the power of imagery to discover your inner wisdom. All supplies will be provided, however if you have a magazine you want to bring, you are more than welcome to do so. This in person workshop will be held in my home and limited to 12 people. I am so excited to return to Barnes & Noble Huntington Beach for a reading of my tenth book, A Box of Magick. I have chosen to read an excerpt from a Harry Potter midnight book release party at this very store as well as a booksigning 20 years ago when the world wasn’t as open to Witches as they are today. We still have a long way to go to achieve religious freedom but can make tremendous strides during the Season of the Witch towards understanding and acceptance. This talk will discuss what it means to be a bridge in communicating Witchcraft as an earth-centric, personally empowering, magick-filled lifestyle and spirituality since 2000. I will also lead a guided Tree of Life meditation and protection spell. Join me!

Join Wiccan author Jamie Della for a Witch Talk about Magick Jamie will read from her tenth book A Box of Magick: A Guided Journey to Crafting a Magickal Life through Witchcraft, Ritual Herbalism and Spellcrafting. We will talk about the portals that exist all around us - particularly on Friday the 13th during the Season of the Witch. Jamie will share insights from her 30 years practicing Witchcraft, offer a spell to attract your very own mentor, and lead a guided meditation while we work with knotwork magick. First 20 people will be able to take away your very own talisman from our spellwork.

Jamie is returning to LA/OC Pagan Pride with a new workshop, Elevating Elders on This Witchcraft Journey, that will lead you on a guided journey to demonstrate the importance of mentors and elders on the Witchcraft Path. I will be using lessons from my tenth book, A Box of Magick: A Guided Journey to Crafting a Magickal life through Witchcraft, Ritual Herbalism and Spellcrafting. The twelve chapters of A Box of Magick align with the twelve steps of the Hero's Journey, the process that mythologist Joseph Campbell identified as a common path in our stories toward personal transformation. We all must first answer the call to adventure—whether to be a Witch or to live our boldest life in whatever fashion will awaken our most feral spirit. As Pagans, we collect allies in the forms of crystals, herbs, and magickal tools. After we accept the assistance of supernatural aid from the cosmos and Spirit World, we enter a mystical realm of many trials, meet our shadow (i.e., do the work), and then return with the Gift of the Goddess, the Holy Grail of our own self-knowledge and self-acceptance to share with the world.

I will share how this book came to fruition, the power of mentorship and the energetic language of Witchcraft and offer a reading from my latest book, my tenth!

We’re going to have a party to celebrate the Pub Day (publication date, which is kind of like a book’s birthday) for A Box of Magick at Mammoth Brewing Company. I’ve reserved the downstairs den where we will drink beer, play pool and talk Magick. I will have several copies of A Box of Magick for purchase and to be personally autographed. After the party, we’ll go upstairs for a Magick-themed trivia night emceed by Maurice Cooper.
