The Book of Spells
There are two books within The Book of Spells. The first edition, The Teen Spell Book: Magick for Young Witches, was written when I was a 33-year-old mother of a pre-teen stepdaughter and two toddler sons. I wrote this book to heal myself of my child and teen trauma because I didn’t want to carry or pass along the pain. I consulted my teen diaries and wrote spells and rituals to bring myself to wholeness. Over time, each of the 75 spells worked their Magick, easing my soul as I welcomed the struggle, joy, and peace of next two decades of really living the Magick.
In time, Witchcraft grew. After 18 years, I was asked to update my spell book for a wider audience - my book became an adult. I cut 30 spells reserved for the needs of 11-17 year old Magick makers and kept the needs that follow us through our lives for The Book of Spells: The Magick of Witchcraft. Then I added eight new spells based on the wisdom I had gained in moving from the Mother to Queen phase of the Goddess. I wrote this book for anyone ready to heal and be the Magick that they are.
